APC: Lalong Emerges Presidential Campaign DG As Keyamo Emerges Spokesperson
The All Progressive Congress has on Thursday appointed Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State as the political party’s Director General, presidential campaign organisation and the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo as spokesperson of the Campaign Organisation.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu made the announcement during a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the party Bola Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima.
Barr Hanatu Musa Musa was named the deputy spokesperson, Nexus News learnt.
The party chairman noted that the meeting was to brief the President and seek his endorsement on the party’s agendas regarding the campaign.
Reacting to the development, Governor Lalong said he was amazed when he heard the news, pledging to work along the established structure of the APC.
