Biden to convene with Ukrainian officials today

United States President Joe Biden will convene on Saturday with Ukrainian officials as he rounds up his trip to Poland.

According to the White House, Biden would stop by for a meeting between his Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and their Ukrainian counterparts, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov.

The meeting comes as Ukraine bemoans the outcomes of this week’s NATO summit, which rebuffed appeals from the country’s leader to compel a no-fly zone.

As contained in a live video interview on Friday, Andriy Yermak, the chief of staff to President Volodomyr Zelensky, told the Atlantic Council “We expected more bravery. We expected some bold decisions”
