Breaking: Nigerian Muslims To Begin Ramadhan Fasting From Saturday -April 2, 2022
The National Moon-sighting committee has declared the beginning of Ramadhan fasting in Nigeria.
The committee published this on its Twitter handle on Friday night.
“Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah, Alhamdu Lillah, the crescent of Ramadan 1443H has been sighted at some locations in Nigeria.” it tweeted.
Also, the Sultan of Sokoto, Saad Abubakar III has announced the sighting on national television.
The month of Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar and it is observed as fasting by Muslims
