Suspected Boko Haram Terrorist Nabbed In Abeokuta

A suspected Boko Haram leader was nabbed by the Department of State Security Service (DSS) on Sunday in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Daily Trust reports that suspect was arrested at Ijaye area of Abeokuta.
The suspect was said to initially resist arrest before surrendering to the DSS operatives on Sunday night.
The suspected terrorist reportedly came from Katsina and assumed a security job at Ijaye, while collecting intelligence for terrorist attacks.
A security source who spoke to Daily Trust said the terrorist moved to Abeokuta to set up a cell for kidnapping and terror attacks.
However, after the intelligence gathering, the gun-wielding security operatives raved his hideout and arrested him.
“It was not an easy ride. Intelligence and the grace of God were sufficient for the operatives. There are still many of them around, but we are on top of our game,” the source said.
The comes as reports goes viral of alleged plot by terrorists to ambush some states in the South West.
Nexus News gathered that the suspect is presently in DSS custody. The DSS and Police force are however, yet to confirm nor corroborate the arrest of the suspected terrorist.
