Nigerian Law School Inducts Over 1,000 Lawyers

Hundreds of new lawyers have been inducted into the legal profession as the 2022 call to bar held on Wednesday.

Channels TV reports that a total of 1,507 were called to bar by the Nigerian Law School. While 1,501 of the lawyers are fresh graduates, the remaining six are from the previous call.

Many professionals in the judiciary sector graced the event which held at the multipurpose hall of the Nigerian Law School in Bwari, Abuja.

They include the Chairman of the Body of Benchers (BOB), Wole Olanipekun; former Justice of the Supreme Court and Vice-Chairman of BOB, Justice Mary Odili; and the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Professor Isa Chiroma, among others.

Their graduation comes after the Bar final examinations that held in May.
